This fantastic view overlooking the Yosemite Valley is ofetn painted and photgraphed. Rarely however are the conditions just right to caoture one of nature's wonders seemingly filling the valley with its mighty falls.

Venice Sparkles - I
Inspired by a suggestion from my 12 year old son, I took a series of pictures from the Rialto Bridge at high noon. In two separate trips to Venice, and 7-10 walks over the Rialto, I never again saw the specular highlights that appear this day.

The Ghosts of Venice
This is an early evening shot overlooking the Santa Maria Della Salute. The gondoliers create ghostly inages through their motion. The texture of the canvas enhances the mystery of "The Ghosts".
